Once you begin your tour with Precious Time Tour Designers, by default, you accept these terms and conditions. Once Precious Time confirms your booking, a contract is made between Precious Time and you upon the terms and conditions set out below. Precious Time hereinafter referred to as ‘we’, will only confirm your booking once we have received full payment for your tour. 1. Booking 1.1 Once full payment is made you will be allocated a place/places on the particular tour and a confirmation emailed to you. This is your confirmation of booking. This should be printed and saved for your own reference. 1.2 Once you begin your tour, you accept and abide by these terms and conditions. 1.3 We accept no responsibility for incorrect email or inability to deliver email. If your confirmation does not arrive on time or at all, then you must ask us to resend the email confirmation of the tours you have paid for. 1.4 All internet bookings will be confirmed by email. 1.5 We reserve the right to sell any places reserved without full payment or a deposit. 1.6 It is the responsibility of the passenger to check the accuracy of dates booked upon receipt of their travel documents. 1.7 A minimum of 2 passengers are required for the tours to be able to proceed. 1.8 Bookings can be made by phone (00351 917 217 778) or email (precioustimetours@gmail.com) up until 48h before the activity. The booking is subject to availability and weather conditions. Your place will be guaranteed after confirmation. 1.9 To make a reservation you must have at least 18 years old and all the people accompanying you must have knowledge of this information. 1.10 Precious Time reserves the right to request a booking fee in the amount of 25% of the price, per person, payable at time of booking. 2. Health and Safety 2.1 Participants in our tours are accepted on condition that they are physically and mentally fit, and able to cope reasonably with the demands of the tour without assistance from our tour leader. All trips and rides are suitable for persons with normal health and fitness. 2.2 You must comply with a non-smoking policy whilst travelling on our vehicles. 2.3 Precious Time has every passenger covered on personal insurance as predicted by the Portuguese law. 2.4 We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst you are taking part in any optional activities that are outside our offer. 2.5 We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings at any time during the duration of your tour. 3. Cancellation and no show 3.1 The cancellation of your booking must be in writing or by email to Precious Time . When written notification has been received by Precious Time, we reserve the right to apply a fee of € 25 to cover administration costs. You are entitled to a full refund only if you give us 4 days notice of your intention to cancel. 3.2 If you choose to cancel 3 days before the start of your tour,you’ll be refunded on 50% of the cost. 3.3 No refunds will be granted if you choose to cancel 48 hours before. You can choose to change your tour departure to another date (subject to availability). 3.4 If you are late for the transport or are a no show, you will get fully charged for the tour that you have booked as we have reserved a seat or seats for you. 4. Changes by us 4.1 Precious Time reserves the right to cancel the activity and/or services by reasons which fall outside the responsibility of the company. We cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to the following reasons: natural disasters, climate conditions, system failures or any other circumstances beyond the company’s control and also whenever the safety and integrity of participants, equipment and/or goods is at risk. The client will be fully refunded, without any compensation or indemnity, or rescheduling to an alternative date will be organised for a convenient time . 4.2 We are constantly striving to make our tours even more brilliant than they are perceived by many to be, therefore should attractions open or become open to us, that we feel will enhance your experience then we reserve the right to include these in your best interests. 4.3 We reserve the right to decrease the price of our tours at any time,not being possible to discount on tours previously purchased. 4.4 We reserve the right to launch amended /brochures in the public domain at any time. 5. Travelling 5.1 You must obey the laws of Portugal and the European Union, whilst travelling on our tours. We would ask you to show respect to the many diverse customs that exist in Portugal. Precious Time promotes ecotourism activities with natural, cultural and environmental interest. We expect the utmost respect of the natural areas and local lifestyles of the places we visit by the participants. We also respect the code of conduct of the protected areas according with the ICNB (Biodiversity and Nature Conservation Institute) and we expect the same from our clients. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel an activity if we find that your behavior is in conflict with this philosophy and code of conduct. 5.2 The routes and exact time on certain interest points are indicative. Our team works flexibly with you, and some of these moments can be extended or shortened. The duration and itinerary of activities are subject to change without previous notice depending on external factors. 5.3 It is your responsibility to meet your tour at arranged points. Because of the nature of the service, we will not be liable if any service leaves or arrives later than its specified time, even if as a result you miss a connecting service. We will endeavour to ensure that departure and arrival. 6. What’s included in the tour price 6.1 The prices per person include your private tour guide, collection and return to your hotel and taxes. 6.2 It doesn’t includes entrance fees in castles, attractions, events or where applicable, unless clearly stated. Tips/gratuities, baggage or personal insurance, beverages or meals not stated in the product’s description, and all other purchases of a personal nature, are not included. 7. Omissions and other Questions 7.1 In case you have other questions you should discuss them with Precious Time Tour Designers and those are subject to the Portuguese law.
